Aesthetics

Product aesthetics communicates the quality of the product and defines the user experience as perceived through all of the senses.

Integrated Aesthetics

Product aesthetics is defined primarily by product form, color, graphics, and surface treatment. However, the aesthetic experience cannot be fully addressed without also considering product function, ergonomics, and material choice.  It is only through an in-depth understanding of these factors and how they interact that Think Design is able to create the best possible experience for the end user.

Aesthetics isn't about "pretty"...

Aesthetics communicates the product's quality, function, durability, comfort, and value before the user ever touches the product. It is about making the product appearance and other aesthetic attributes appropriate for the intended task and target market.

More than good looks

The coolness of a metal surface, the warmth of a wooden handle, the smell of a new car, the sound of a latch closing; product aesthetics may be experienced through any of the senses.  All of the senses need to be considered in the design process.
